Today Disney announced to annual passholders that Duffy, the Disney Bear is going to be coming to EPCOT and California Adventure October 14th. Here all all the details:
Disney California Adventure:
- Duffy will cost $25 for the 17" version and costumes cost $15
- There were 26 costume sketches on display
- Duffy will be available at Treasures in Paradise
- The will be a meet-and-greet location near the store
- There will be new food items with a Duffy theme. These include popcorn buckets and desert bowls.
- Duffy will have a Facebook and Twitter account before the end of the year.
EPCOT:
- Duffy will cost $25 for the 17" version and costumes cost $15
- Duffy will go on sale the same day as the one in California, October 14th.
- Duffy will go on sale at Tower East Gifts. Tower Easts Gifts is being converted into a Duffy gift shop.
- The meet-and-greet location for Duffy will be at a gazebo that is going to be built into World Showcase.
- Duffy will have a costume for every country in World Showcase
- Every holiday will have a costume
- Disney Cruise Line will have Duffy in his sailor costume
- Duffy masks will replace the Kidcot masks in World Showcase
