Disneyland Resort's New Years Eve 2011 Celebrations

    Disneyland Resort is going to be celebrating New Year's Eve 2011 with DJs, Live Music, and Fountains. Here is information on the special events that will be happening on December 31st:

Park Hours: 8:00 A.M.-2:00 A.M. (Magic Morning: 7:00 A.M.- 8:00 A.M.)
Fireworks: Believe... In Holiday Magic. 8:45 P.M. 
Parade: A Christmas Fantasy Parade 2:30 P.M., 5:30 P.M. 
Special Events: None confirmed yet.

Disney California Adventure:
Park Hours: 10:00 A.M.- 1:00 A.M. 
Parades: Pixar Pals 6 shows on Hollywood Blvd.,
Phineas and Ferb's Rockin' Rollin' Dance Party 6 shows in the performance corridor 
Special Events: Fountains and Fireworks Show (confirmed) Before Last World of Color, ElecTRONica, 
World of Color 8:00 P.M., 9:15 P.M., 12:05 A.M.

Toy Story Mania is Coming to Tokyo DisneySea!

 Disney announced today that Toy Story Mania will open in Tokyo DisneySea n July 9, 2012. Here is what the Disney Parks Blog said about the new ride: 

  The attraction will be located in Toyville Trolley Park, a new area themed after an old-fashioned amusement park. Toy Story Mania! will have a few differences from the attraction here at Walt Disney World Resort, including the fact that guests will initially enter through Woody’s mouth. From here, guests will find themselves in Andy’s room, which is strewn with larger-than-life board games, puzzles and other toys.

Guests later board a tram, put on 3-D glasses and roll under Andy’s bed where the toys have set up a carnival play set. Joining in the fun, guests play the carnival games with all their “Toy Story” friends.

The attraction also will be accompanied with Slinky Dog’s Gift Trolley merchandise shop.

Disney Announces New Experience at the Magic Kingdom

 Disney has announced, with very little details, a new interactive experience at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The new interactive experience is called "Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom" and is a role-play adventure through Magic Kingdom. Merlin the Magician will recruit guests to become apprentice sorcerers and then help them with maps and clues that show where and how to defeat an army of Disney villains. 

This adventure will open in early 2012, but to hold you over a piece of concept art is below.

New Information About Shanghai Disneyland

 During the Imagineering's Guide to Creativity and Innovation, Marty Sklar let slip some new details about Shanghai Disneyland. The only ride that was confirmed for Shanghai Disneyland at the panel was a Pirates of the Caribbean. No details were given other than it would be in the park when it opens. There were also three lands that were confirmed for Shanghai Disneyland at the panel. These lands are Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Adventure Isle. No other information was given about the three lands. Shanghai Disneyland is expected to open in either 2015 or 2016.
